The Finno-Ugric Studies course imparts comprehensive specialist knowledge, methods and skills in the field of Finno-Ugric languages ​​and cultures. The focus of the training is either Finnish or Hungarian. In addition, the students deal with a variety of languages ​​and cultures of smaller peoples in the Ural region and in Siberia. The course serves as preparation for professional activities in which appropriate language skills and familiarity with the socio-cultural conditions of the respective language areas are required.
