The interdisciplinary course offers a high degree of practice-related learning content, both in lectures and seminars as well as in excursions, field exercises and internships. It imparts extensive knowledge about processes, the dynamics and the structure of our earth system as well as the interactions between humans and the environment. The aim is to be able to independently develop geoscientific applications and comprehensive connections. Students can specialize in geology, crystallography, soil science, petrography, paleobiology and geochemistry or combine several of these areas.
