How law and economics affect and determine each other is important for both lawyers and economists. Therefore, the "European Master in Law and Economics" course is interdisciplinary and focuses on both subject areas. The international program lasts one year (3 trimesters) and is completed at at least two of the nine partner universities, which in addition to Hamburg include Bologna, Rotterdam, Haifa and Mumbai. The students should gain an understanding of the economic effects of different legal norms, which is why, among other things, courses in “Comparative Law and Economics”; "Economic Analysis of Contract Law" and "Competition Law and Economics" are mandatory.
