The extra-occupational course in learning diagnosis, learning support and learning therapy in the areas of reading, arithmetic and writing teaches the skills that are a prerequisite for qualified learning therapy: pedagogical-psychological methods borrowed from therapy and the didactic basics of learning to write, read and do arithmetic. It qualifies learning therapists to assess the difficulties of affected children and young people, to recognize possible causes, consequences and connections of the problems, to arrange help through institutions and to offer appropriate learning therapy themselves. The face-to-face seminars take place on weekends (Friday/Saturday) and twice a year as part of a compact week.

The course is offered in cooperation with Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Fachverband für Integrative Lerntherapie e. V. (FiL) offered. Training and examination fees apply.
