Application software determines everyday professional and personal life almost everywhere. Their development and design requires good programming knowledge combined with communication skills and other "soft skills". The analysis and construction of software in the context of its application (e.g. in business, administration or medicine) is therefore the focus of this bachelor's degree, which is geared towards the complex requirements of current software systems. It combines theoretical basics with project experience and application reference and is characterized by three subject areas: Concepts and techniques of software development, familiarization with an application area of ​​your choice and additional topics of general computer science. Innovative forms of teaching are combined with internships and projects.


The main study goals are: a solid basis in software development and software technology, mastery of the basics of computer science, methodical competence, social and communication skills and experience with software projects.
