Business mathematics is a branch of mathematics that applies mathematical methods to economic problems. The research-oriented Master's program enables students to structure and analyze economic problems and to solve them using mathematical methods. The course also takes into account the requirements and changes in the professional world as well as the interdisciplinary relationships. Business mathematics is a branch of mathematics that applies mathematical methods to economic problems. Admission Requirements
- Degree in a consecutive bachelor's degree in business mathematics or mathematics (with a supplementary subject in business administration or economics) or in one of the bachelor's degrees in business administration or economics at the University of Hamburg or a comparable course at another university or
- Degree in another mathematical or economics bachelor’s degree in which comparable academic achievements in mathematics and economics were achieved with the consecutive bachelor’s degree in business mathematics.
- In special cases: If you can prove that you have also completed special subject-related achievements (e.g. relevant internships, professional experience or work results), admission (possibly with individual conditions) is also possible if the above-mentioned requirements are not met.
- Sufficient language skills to be able to follow courses in German and English.
