From this perspective, those of us who collaborate in the Master's in Educational Psychology have proposed the training of highly trained human resources to achieve quality education.


The program is aimed at graduates in psychology, preferably, although it welcomes graduates from related careers. It lasts two years and offers the title of Master in Educational Psychology. It is professional in nature and is recognized in Conacyt's National Register of Quality Postgraduates, "in development" level, which demands full-time dedication from its students. Admission is generational and classes are held in person.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or degree certificate. The degree of origin must be in the area of ​​psychology. In the case of graduates from other related careers, in addition to completing the degree, the applicant will be accepted or not accepted as decided by the Academic Board, which will take into consideration the contents of the program completed by the applicant and/or professional experience. and/or the integration of the degree project with the existing lines of research in the master's degree.
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty with an original certificate or document that is comparable to previous studies, as the case may be.
  • The Education Commission of the Center Council may rule on exceptional cases at the proposal of the Academic Board, in accordance with the provisions of article 50 bis of the General Postgraduate Regulations of the University of Guadalajara.
  • Letter of explanation of reasons to study the program.
  • Present and pass a reading-comprehension exam of a foreign language giving priority to the English language.
  • Take an exam on basic computer skills and Internet browsing.
  • Pass the knowledge and/or selection exam proposed by the Master's Coordinator or the Academic Board.
  • Present an interview with a selection committee made up of professors from the program.
  • Submit preliminary project of final work related to the lines of generation and application of knowledge of the Master's degree in educational psychology.
  • Approve the other requirements published in the respective call.
