General objective of the Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences is to train specialists at the master's level who, through their knowledge and skills, propose solutions to biopharmaceutical problems in the formulation of medicines and their safe and rational use in the population.
Specific objectives of the postgraduate program are to train human resources with the skills to:
- Biopharmaceutical development and evaluation of medicines.
- Clinical and hospital pharmacy.

- Participate in clinical quality management throughout the drug use and distribution chain.
- To promote the dissemination of knowledge in the area of biopharmaceutical sciences and community and hospital pharmacy, in order to strengthen the scientific and technological culture in the country.

Admission Requirements
The requirements for the Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences are those established in the current university regulations applicable to postgraduate programs, as well as the following:
Applicants who are graduates and/or have received a degree from the University of Guadalajara are exempt from submitting a simple copy or original of the requirements established in sections a) and c) of this resolution, since the school archive already contains the electronic information of the same.
For international students, in addition to the above, documents must be apostilled and, if they are in a language other than Spanish, accompanied by a translation. Furthermore, a technical assessment must be requested from the Postgraduate Coordination office.
- A simple copy of the degree or graduation certificate and proof of completion of social service in areas related to Biopharmaceutical Sciences, at the discretion of the Master's Academic Board.
- Have a Unique Population Registry Code (CURP). In the case of foreigners, it must be valid.
- Demonstrate a minimum average of eighty with an original certificate or equivalent document from previous studies.
- Take and pass a knowledge and skills test set by the admissions committee.
- Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preferably in English or its equivalent.
- Statement of reasons.
- Present a topic related to Biopharmaceutical Sciences in accordance with the guidelines established by the Academic Board.
- Interview with the admissions committee made up of postgraduate professors, appointed by the Academic Board, so that it can assess the profile of the postgraduate applicant.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
