Our graduates successfully pursue doctoral studies abroad, in the public sector (Bank of Mexico, INEGI, State and Municipal Governments), academia (public and private universities in Mexico and abroad), and the private sector.
Admission Requirements
- Complete the preparatory course and pass all three modules: Mathematics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics. Alternatively, at the discretion of the Academic Board, applicants may be required to take three proficiency exams, especially foreign applicants and Mexicans residing abroad.
- Academic background based on: Bachelor's degree certificate, other courses and professional experience where applicable.
- Provide proof of English language proficiency showing at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference.
- Present and pass a personal interview with members of the Basic Academic Core, previously scheduled by the Program Coordination.
- The proposal of admitted candidates will be made by the Academic Board in accordance with the results of the exams of the modules of the preparatory course and the criteria mentioned above.
- Any other requirement established in the corresponding call for applications, or determined by the Academic Board.
