In addition to those stipulated by current university regulations, the following are required:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or graduation certificate and proof of completion of social service for a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biology, or related fields; the affinity will be evaluated by the Academic Board of the program.
- Minimum average of 80 (or its equivalent) supported by a bachelor's degree certificate.
- Demonstrate a minimum level of B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in English, or its equivalent.
- A confidential letter of recommendation from an academic or person working in the seed industry.
- Submit a letter of intent addressed to the Academic Board to pursue the program.
- Pass the National Postgraduate Entrance Exam (EXANI-III), with a minimum score of 1000 points.
- Those additional ones established by the call for applications.

- A confidential letter of recommendation from an academic or person working in the seed industry.
- Submit a letter explaining reasons addressed to the Academic Board to take the program.
- Pass the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (EXANI-III), with a minimum of 1000 points.
- Those additional ones that the call establishes.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
