The Master's Degree in Teaching for Upper Secondary Education (MDEMS) is a program for people who teach in Upper Secondary Education and who are interested in professionalizing their practice, updating the discipline they teach, as well as in social and educational research.
Some of the program's application fields include applied research for curriculum analysis and the improvement of teaching practice; the planning, design, execution, and evaluation of training strategies based on theories and models; the management and use of information and communication technologies for learning; and knowledge management to promote a lifelong learning process.
At the end of the program, it is intended that the graduate will be able, among other things, to: define the objects of study specific to disciplinary and interdisciplinary training to promote the development of competencies; intervene in educational processes and propose improvements based on the results of their research; manage the learning of individuals, groups and educational institutions; and organize and work collaboratively for institutional development and with different groups and social networks.

Admission Requirements
- To be a teacher in at least one group of Upper Secondary Education
- Demonstrate a minimum average of eighty with original certification or equivalent document from previous studies
- Demonstrate a minimum level of B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preferably in English or its equivalent
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program
- Pay the fee to become an applicant
- Accreditation of the selection course
- Interview with members of the Academic Board
- Those additional ones established by the call for applications
