Management of Higher Education in the International Context:

This research area seeks to understand and analyze the impact of management and public policies on resolving problems faced by higher education in the international context. It encompasses student theses, research projects, presentations, and publications by both students and faculty, with a central focus on analyzing, exploring, and proposing solutions to problems related to the interconnection between decision-making, leadership, management, economics, finance, and public policy in higher education institutions within the international context.
  Internationalization of Higher Education:

This research area addresses concepts, theoretical principles, models, challenges, and best practices for internationalizing the teaching, research, and outreach functions of higher education, as well as related topics such as international cooperation, diplomacy, and curriculum internationalization. It is the most general and central research area of ​​the graduate program and is expected to be the most active in terms of the number of faculty and students conducting studies, presentations, papers, and publications on this topic.  
Global or regional perspectives in international higher education:

This research area aims to contribute to the understanding of international higher education through the analysis of best practices and models from other geographical contexts and the comparative study of related issues. This research area will gain greater relevance as students from other regions of the world join the program and submit papers related to higher education topics in their geographical contexts.

Admission Requirements

In addition to those established in article 50 of the General Postgraduate Regulations and those provided for by current university regulations, the following are required:
  • Demonstrate a command of English equivalent to B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​through standardized tests or as a mother tongue.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from researchers or professionals linked to international higher education.
  • Approve the other requirements determined by the Academic Board and that are part of the respective call for applications.
