This programme is aimed at: Bachelor's degree graduates who are immersed in tasks related to higher education in the international context and with internationalization processes in universities, research centers and other entities, or who demonstrate interest in building a career focused on this field.  
Lines of application and generation of knowledge:
Management of higher education in the international context: This LGAC seeks the understanding and analysis of the impact of management and public policies on the resolution of problems faced by higher education in the international context. It brings together receptional works by students as well as research projects, presentations and publications by both students and teachers, whose central focus is to analyze, deepen and make proposals for the solution of problems related to the interconnection between decision making, leadership, management, economics, finance or public policies in higher education institutions in the international context.   Internationalization of higher education: This line addresses concepts, theoretical principles, models, challenges and best practices of internationalization of the teaching, research and extension functions of higher education, as well as topics linked to it such as international cooperation, diplomacy and the internationalization of the curriculum. This is the most general and central LGAC for postgraduate studies, and it is expected to also be the largest in terms of the number of professors and students who carry out studies, presentations, works and publications on this topic.   Global or regional perspectives in international higher education: This line seeks to contribute to the knowledge of international higher education based on the analysis of best practices and models from other geographical contexts and the comparative study of problems in the matter. This LGAC will achieve greater relevance as students from other regions of the world join the program and present works related to higher education topics in their geographical contexts.

Admission Requirements

  • Accredit a command of English equivalent to B2 in the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages ​​through standardized exams or as a mother tongue.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from researchers or professionals linked to international higher education.
  • Approve the other requirements determined by the Academic Board and that are part of the respective call.
