In an interconnected world, English has transcended its role as a subject to become a fundamental tool for academic development, scientific innovation, and social mobility. Therefore, English teachers are not just educators; they are architects of opportunity and facilitators of progress in their communities.

To train the teachers who will lead this mission, the University of Guadalajara presents the Master's Program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. This modular program, recognized by the National System of Graduate Studies (SNP) of the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI), is designed to equip teachers with cutting-edge knowledge and methodologies and a deep understanding of their strategic role in developing the human capital that Mexico needs.

As a professional development program offered online with intensive in-person sessions, our master's degree fosters in-depth analysis that integrates theory with teaching practice. We do this within a framework of action research, critical reflection, and a firm commitment to a social and humanistic perspective on English language teaching.
