The creation of the Master of Laws curriculum aims to solve various problems that arise in the legal field, mainly those arising from recent social changes at the municipal, state, national and international levels, and in correlation with constitutional reforms, the changes in international conventional law, as well as legal ones that have been implemented to address them. 

To achieve its objective, the Master of Laws has created 5 five lines of knowledge generation and application (LGAC), in which the student will be able to develop and acquire the necessary bases to innovate in legal theory, which will be reflected in works of solid, coherent and timely research, given the above, the following are brought into view:   
  • Constitutional and Administrative Law; 
  • Administration of Justice and Criminal Law; 
  • Corporate and Labor Law; 
  • Civil and Family Law; 
  • Legal Philosophy. 
 
For all this, the Master of Law, in accordance with the Line of Generation and Application of Knowledge, will have to respond, with actions, results and professional products in research or professional practice.  
 
It should be noted that the academics of the Master's Program in Law are mostly part of the National System of Researchers of CONACYT or have a PROMEP profile, this demonstrates the high academic level that the program requires of those accepted into it to achieve a excellence training.

Admission Requirements

  • Have a title or certification certificate of Lawyer in law or lawyer and proof of completion of social service of the degree.
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty in undergraduate studies.
  • Submit a letter explaining the reasons for taking the program.
  • Sign commitment letter of availability of time necessary to pursue postgraduate studies.
  • Pass the preparatory course.
  • Take an exam before a national body that certifies your aptitude and knowledge to be able to pursue postgraduate studies (the EXANI III of CENEVAL).
  • Hold an interview with professors of the master's degree in law to explain the reasons for entering the program.
  • Hold an oral exam to be able to analyze, reason and present a solution to a practical case.
  • Take and pass a foreign language reading comprehension test.
  • Those additional ones that the call establishes.
