This career includes project management that allows the search for and development of excellence in its discipline, consolidating the management of quality methodological processes in the training of interior designers, with five cognitive fields that support it: interior design theories, interior design projects, building for interior design projects, expression and representation of interior design and interior design management.


  • To equip students with the skills demanded by the current and cutting-edge labor market so that they can successfully enter the professional field.
  • To strengthen the comprehensive training of students participating in the interior design educational program, through links with public and private institutions with which real projects are developed, where the generic and specific skills acquired are put into practice, as well as the humanistic aspects of the career.

Admission Requirements

The applicant must have the following entry profile:
  • Capacity for abstract, numerical and verbal reasoning, as well as skills and abilities, both physical and mental;
  • Habits of reading, analyzing and writing documents;
  • Willingness to work in a team, desire to learn and undertake new ways of acting, being entrepreneurial, with respect for human values, with habits of perseverance and discipline;
  • Knowledge in the use of technological tools (such as computers, the Internet, video, specialized software, among others);
  • Vocation, professional ethics, self-initiative, strong sense of organization and adaptability to different social environments;
  • Basic knowledge focused on creative aspects;
  • Interest in art and culture;
  • Aesthetic and spatial sensitivity;
  • Interest in the history and the theoretical, practical and technological advancement of interior design;
  • Capacity for observation and analysis for the project development of the socio-cultural context and its problems;
  • Interest in innovation in all fields of design;
  • Ease in expressing oneself graphically and verbally;
  • Interest in built heritage, sustainable development and the environment.
