The Master of Science in Mathematics program at the University Center for Exact Sciences and Engineering of the University of Guadalajara is a full-time, on-campus, research-oriented program encompassing areas of study in Basic Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Admission Requirements

In addition to those stipulated by current university regulations, the following are required:
  • Possess a bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree examination certificate and proof of completion of social service, in mathematics, physics or areas related to the program, at the discretion of the Academic Board. 
  • Minimum average of eighty in their previous undergraduate studies. 
  • Take the aptitude test established by the Postgraduate Academic Board, and pass it with the score established by the Board itself.
  • Demonstrate reading comprehension of the English language.
  • Submit a resume with relevant supporting documents.
  • Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program.
  • Interview with the Admissions Committee made up of postgraduate professors, appointed by the Academic Board.
  • Those additional ones established by the corresponding call for applications.
