Admission Requirements
- Simple copy of the Bachelor's degree or graduation certificate in areas related to the corresponding orientations in Applied Mathematics, Optoelectronics, Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials.
- Applicants must demonstrate a minimum grade point average of 80 with an original certificate or equivalent document from their previous studies, as applicable. Foreign applicants, in addition to meeting the aforementioned academic and institutional requirements, must have immigration authorization and demonstrate financial solvency.
- Original birth certificate.
- Have a Unique Population Registry Code (CURP). In the case of foreigners, it must be valid.
- Submit and pass an English exam (minimum B1 of CEFR or TOEFL ITP 337-459, through a certificate issued by a recognized institution).
- Pass the admission exam under the mechanism defined by the academic board.
- Submit the letter of acceptance issued by a professor recognized by the Academic Board, in which he agrees to be your Thesis Director.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program.
- Curriculum evaluation (The applicant's prior academic background will be evaluated).
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
Applicants who are graduates and/or have received a degree from the University of Guadalajara are exempt from submitting a simple copy or original of the requirements established in sections a), b) and c) of this resolution, since the school archive already contains the electronic information of the same.
For students with previous studies completed abroad, in addition to the above, the following is required:
The degree, certificates and birth certificate must be apostilled or the applicable procedure for countries not members of the Hague Convention and if they are in a language other than Spanish, accompany a translation by an accredited expert.
