Admission Requirements
- These are those established in the current university regulations applicable to postgraduate studies, as well as the following:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or graduation exam certificate and proof of completion of social service for the bachelor's degree, in a biomedical area such as Medicine, Dentistry, Biology, Chemistry, Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology, Nutrition among others, that allow the development of Medical Microbiology and that are academically sufficient in the judgment of the Academic Board of the postgraduate program.
- Have a minimum average of 80 in undergraduate studies, supported by a certificate.
- Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preferably in English or its equivalent.
- Submit a psychometric exam administered by the Psychological Evaluation Center of the University Center for Health Sciences.
- Pass a basic concepts exam for the Health Sciences area.
- Submit a letter of intent to pursue a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology.
- Submit a letter of commitment to full-time dedication to the program.
- Interview before a committee made up of four professors, three from the core academic staff and one external to the core academic staff.
- Register in SIIAU and pay the corresponding fees.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
- Foreign applicants must comply with all of the above, demonstrate language proficiency, and present the corresponding immigration authorization.
- For international students, in addition to the above, documents must be apostilled, and if they are in a language other than Spanish, a translation must be provided. Furthermore, a technical assessment must be requested from the Postgraduate Coordination office.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
