The general objective is:
  • The rigorous training of individuals who have cutting-edge tools in bioengineering and intelligent computing, specific to develop interdisciplinary, linked and competitive research, relevant to the region and the country, but taking into account the globalized trends of today's world.

The particular objectives are:
  • Prepare individuals who have the elements that allow them to examine new knowledge and establish innovative solutions to problems in bioengineering and intelligent computing;
  • Provide the tools for critical and reflective thinking that lead to the approach, development and participation in research and technological development projects with social relevance; 
  • Provide interdisciplinary foundations in intelligent computing and bioengineering to strengthen research, evaluation, and analysis regarding problems associated with technological advances in biomedicine.
  • To train promoters of social development, who have a high potential to contribute to the development of technological resources of bioengineering or intelligent computing; 
  • Train for the dissemination and publication of scientific knowledge.

  • Copy of the bachelor's degree or copy of the degree certificate and proof of completion of social service of the degree, in areas related to the postgraduate degree. In any case, the Academic Board will officially issue the list of related degrees, which may be modified when the Academic Board itself deems it necessary.
  • Comply satisfactorily with the means of selection designated by the Academic Board in accordance with articles 50 to 52 of the General Postgraduate Regulations, and which will be published in the respective call.
  • Document that demonstrates knowledge of English at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​or its equivalent.
  • Those additional ones established by the corresponding call.
