This is a research-oriented program based on the use of quantitative methods, with the purpose of generating knowledge applied to the analysis and explanation of economic phenomena from an inter- and multidisciplinary perspective.

Admission Requirements
- TOEFL (ITP) exam certificate with a minimum score of 550 or TOEFL (IBI) with a minimum score of 79 points.
- Pass the entrance interview.
- Have a master's degree or a degree certificate with a minimum average of 80 (Eighty) or its equivalent.
- Take the EXANI III exam.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons why you intend to enter the program.
- Submit a research proposal no longer than 3 pages explaining the reasons and relevance of the proposed topic, the possible research questions, and a basic bibliography.
- Submit two academic letters of recommendation.
- Be available to be a full-time student for the four years of the doctoral program.
- Comply with any other criteria established by the Academic Board of the doctoral program, as well as those stipulated by the General Regulations for Student Admission and the General Regulations for Postgraduate Studies of the University of Guadalajara.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
