To train highly specialized human resources in the Sciences of Molecular Biochemistry, who will impact the prognosis, diagnosis, and monitoring of molecular, cellular, and tissue alterations in order to generate knowledge through innovative methodologies to solve problems in their environment; related to Signal Transduction and Intracellular Signaling, Biophysics and Molecular Nanobiochemistry, Molecular Pathology, and Translational Biochemistry.
Specific Objectives
- To develop human resources that have the theoretical and methodological elements in the sciences in Molecular Biochemistry that allow them to deepen and apply new knowledge in the lines of research established in the program.
- To prepare individuals capable of implementing innovative methodological strategies, generating reliable results through the validation of their methods and in accordance with current certification guidelines for clinical laboratories and research and development related to Molecular Biochemistry Sciences.
- To train individuals with critical, reflective and proactive thinking skills, enabling them to develop and contribute to research projects in Molecular Biochemistry that can address the main problems in their environment.
- To train researchers with a broad moral and ethical judgment, committed to society, as well as their constant training and updating, with the necessary skills to disseminate the results and knowledge combining social, ethnic, geographical, biological and political factors.

Admission Requirements
- A simple copy of the degree certificate or graduation certificate and proof of completion of Social Service for a degree related to the lines of research, at the discretion of the Academic Board.
- Have a Unique Population Registry Code (CURP). In the case of foreigners, it must be valid.
- Demonstrate a minimum average of eighty with an original bachelor's degree certificate or equivalent document.
- Demonstrate, through an official document, proficiency in the English language equivalent to at least level B1 or higher of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or its equivalent.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for entering the program, prepared by the applicant.
- Register in SIIAU and pay the corresponding fees.
- Those additional requirements established by the call for applications and defined by the Academic Board of the Program, based on academic and quality criteria.
Applicants who are graduates and/or have received a degree from the University of Guadalajara are exempt from submitting a simple copy or original of the requirements established in sections a) and c) of this resolution, since the school archive already contains the electronic information of the same.
For international students, in addition to the above, documents must be apostilled and, if they are in a language other than Spanish, accompanied by a translation. Furthermore, a technical assessment must be requested from the Postgraduate Coordination office.
