Admission Requirements
• Submission of the required documentation (complete file).
Second stage:
• Shortlisted candidates must: a) take and pass the knowledge exam; and b) attend an interview to present their research project to members of the doctoral faculty.
Third stage:
• Candidates who pass the second selection stage must: a) attend and pass the in-person preparatory course; b) pass the Ceneval EXANI III exam; and c) pass exams in two foreign languages relevant to the research project. Applicants who are not native Spanish speakers must pass a Spanish language proficiency exam.
• Candidates who successfully complete the third stage of selection —acceptance decision to postgraduate studies— must comply with the admission procedures to the Doctorate in History established by the School Control of the University Center of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara.
