In Intelligent Mechatronics Engineering, the overall objective of the curriculum is to train professionals in Intelligent Mechatronics Engineering with a solid understanding of the scientific and technological principles related to the development of knowledge and skills in the design of mechatronic systems more quickly and easily, taking into account the simultaneous dimensioning of multiple linear components, units, controllers and interfaces, as well as computer systems, intelligent systems, the Internet of Things, mechanics and robotics, with an innovative vision promoting economic and social development from an interdisciplinary approach at the international and local level, in various sectors.

- To promote in the student the acquisition and continuous improvement of the skills and attitudes necessary for interaction with other people, collaborative work, respect for cultural and social differences, as well as the ethical performance of their profession; and,
- Improve foreign language communication skills to perform in productive and academic environments that demand the solution of technical problems in engineering and innovation.

The profile of the graduate from upper secondary level becomes the entry profile of those admitted to Intelligent Mechatronics Engineering, who must have the following general and disciplinary competencies:
- Knowledge in mathematics, experimental sciences, social sciences and communication;
- Listens to, interprets and delivers relevant messages in different contexts using appropriate media, codes and tools;
- It develops innovations and proposes solutions to problems based on established methods;
- Learn through initiative and self-interest throughout life;
- Participates and collaborates effectively in diverse teams; and,
- Participate with civic and ethical awareness in the life of your community, region, Mexico, and the world.
