The Interinstitutional Master's Degree in Livestock Production MIPPE is a quality postgraduate program recognized in the National Postgraduate System of CONACyT. It is made up of four Universities: Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, University of Colima, University of Guadalajara and the University of Guanajuato. It is the only postgraduate program in the Central Western region that is one of the regions with the highest livestock production in Mexico. The main production systems addressed are related to the species that include birds, pigs, sheep, and cattle that produce milk and meat.
The research approach is inter, multi and transdisciplinary in nature in order to use resources efficiently and effectively, to efficiently impact the medium and small scale social sector.
As part of the training of teachers in this scheme, teachers are requested as collateral activities to present their research results, either partial or final, in dissemination forums with the different actors related to research and livestock production.

Admission Requirements

  • Original and copy of the bachelor's degree, or reception exam record.
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty with an original certificate, or comparable document, of the preceding studies, as the case may be.
  • Submit supporting TOEFL documents with at least 400 points or equivalent.
  • Proof of obtaining a minimum of 1000 points in the National Postgraduate Entrance Exam (EXANI III) of the National Center for Educational Evaluation (CENEVAL).
  • Letter with explanatory reasons.
  • Letter of acceptance and commitment from the proposed advisor.
  • Accredit the interview before the Academic Council of the program.
  • If you work in an institution, present the proposal from the institution of origin that indicates the release of time to carry out the studies and the authorization to attend the scheduled academic activities.
  • Those additional ones established by the call.
