It arises from the need to analyze, in a professional and interdisciplinary manner, the complex phenomena related to questions whose importance has grown in recent years: How to achieve economic development? What parameters, policies, and instruments should be used in innovation processes within organizations? What forces (internal and external) have the greatest impact on these parameters? What managerial profiles does the new business environment demand? The notion of development far surpasses the mere aggregation of indicators of economic and material growth, and has expanded to include the notion of organizational sustainability. With this, the traditional understanding of how resources are produced and distributed in society, as well as the role played by institutions and individuals, has been rethought.
Its relevance lies in the need to strengthen the development of professional human capital that will positively impact the business and public sectors of the states where the program will be implemented. The program focuses on enhancing opportunities, transforming organizational sectors, and transitioning to cutting-edge knowledge in management, in order to achieve improved organizational performance, considering the areas of research, development, and innovation.

Admission Requirements
In addition to those stipulated by university regulations, the following will apply:
- Having a master's degree or graduation certificate in the area of administration or disciplines related to the LGACs, the affinity will be evaluated by the Academic Board of the program.
- Minimum average of 80 (or its equivalent) supported by the master's degree certificate.
- Demonstrate a minimum level of B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in English, or equivalent.
- Availability of time to dedicate to full-time studies.
- Letter of intent outlining academic, professional and personal reasons for applying to the doctoral program.
- Two letters of recommendation from research professors.
- Submit a research protocol in one of the LGACs of the postgraduate program.
- Personal interview with the Academic Board.
- Pass the preparatory course.
- Take the EXANI III (CENEVAL) exam and pass it with the score established by the Academic Board.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
