The Master's Degree in Finance for Sustainable Development seeks to train and specialize graduates and professionals from the economic and administrative areas, including those with degrees in Public Accounting, Financial Administration and Systems, Administration, Tourism, Economics, Process and International Trade Engineers, and other related educational programs.
Sustainability is a topic of increasing global importance due to its impact on development and competitiveness strategies, as well as on the very dynamics of countries striving for the long-sought standards of sustainability. Sustainable finance considers social, ethical, and environmental aspects in investment projects, fostering long-term profitability.
The Master's in Finance for Sustainable Development responds to this challenge through its curriculum, designed to provide knowledge that promotes financial inclusion through:
- The efficiency of development finance institutions whose main objective is to provide savings and credit products and services to individuals and entities that are excluded from the financial sector, and
- Financial reengineering for the growth of the business sector, mainly micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, in the Sierra de Amula and Costa Sur Regions of the State of Jalisco.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree certificate or graduation certificate and proof of completion of social service, preferably in the areas of finance, accounting, the administrative, economic, fiscal sphere and others related to economic sciences, among others at the discretion of the Academic Board.
- Bachelor's degree certificate with a minimum average of 80 (eighty) or its equivalent.
- Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preferably in English or its equivalent.
- Submit and pass an admission exam approved by the Postgraduate Academic Board.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program.
- Academic ability of the applicant, accredited through the evaluation of the curriculum and/or the interview with the Academic Board.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
