Since its origins, the city has constituted a meeting point and, to a certain extent, unification and integration of the different sectors and groups involved in it, but these conditions have not been immune to the generation of conflicts and confrontations. Guadalajara, being one of the oldest cities in Mexico, has continually renewed its infrastructure, which has resulted in a complex reality that offers the possibility of proposing alternatives for care and solutions to critical situations in its urban planning and the administration of its territory.
From the University of Guadalajara, through the Master's Degree in Urban Planning and Territory, we seek to promote functional, responsible and sustainable growth of urban and territorial space. The Master's Degree in Urban Planning and Territory focuses on the training of professionals who contribute to the imminent growth of the city, who address the problems and propose consolidation alternatives that prioritize quality of life and temporary or permanent impacts on the territory.
