The Master's Degree in Teaching for Higher Secondary Education (MDEMS) is a professional program, incorporated into CONACYT's National Quality Postgraduate Program in 2015. It is a program for people who practice or are interested in teaching in Secondary Education. Superior and who are interested in professionalizing their practice, in updating the discipline they teach, as well as in social and educational research.   Some of the fields of application of the program are research applied to curricular analysis and the improvement of teaching practice; the planning, design, execution and evaluation of training strategies based on theories and models; the management and use of information and communication technologies for learning; management and knowledge to favor a permanent learning process.   At the end of the program, it is intended that the graduate be able, among other things, to: define the objects of study of disciplinary and interdisciplinary training to promote the development of skills; intervene in educational processes and propose improvements based on the results of their research; manage the learning of individuals, groups and educational institutions; and organize and work collaboratively for institutional development and with different groups and social networks.

  • Have a bachelor's degree or graduation certificate and proof of completion of social service.
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty with original certification or document that is comparable to previous studies.
  • Demonstrate a minimum B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) preferably in the English language or its equivalent.
  • Letter of explanation of reasons to study the program.
  • Pay the fee to be an applicant.
  • Accredit the selection course.
  • Interview with members of the Academic Board.
  • Be a teacher in at least one group of Upper Secondary Education.
  • Those additional ones that the call establishes.
