General objective.  To train researchers capable of formulating, developing, applying and disseminating knowledge production in the areas of education and human development, thereby contributing to and consolidating the area of ​​knowledge of human development and education in the different fields of action. 
 
Specific objectives
  • To offer theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools for the creation of new debates on human development and the role of education and interculturality in it. 
  • Promote research related to different processes of Human Development. 
  • To promote joint and collaborative work through the lines of generation and application of doctoral knowledge. 
  • Promote the practical application and intervention in different fields of action with the principles of Human Development. 
  • To encourage the dissemination of research results through academic activities such as conferences, colloquia, debates and individual and collective publications, as well as various outreach strategies.

Admission Requirements

 In addition to those stipulated by university regulations, the following are required: 
 
Modality I. Masters in Human Development, Education and Interculturality graduated from the same program: 
  • Hold a Master's degree or proof of passing the Master's degree examination in Human Development, Education and Interculturality. 
  • Certificate of professional studies demonstrating completion of the Master's degree with a minimum average of eighty. 
  • Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) in English or its equivalent. 
  • Statement of reasons. 
  • Submit a research project proposal, considering the guidelines established by the Academic Board, with the endorsement of a member of the core academic staff who may act as your tutor. 
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from academics and/or researchers of recognized prestige. 
  • Pass the exam on the conceptual and methodological analysis of scientific texts. 
  • Obtain a favorable opinion in the interview conducted by the Academic Board. 
  • Take the CENEVAL EXANI-III exam and obtain at least 950 points. 
  • Letter of commitment to full-time dedication.
  • Cover the corresponding fees. 
  • Those additional ones that are established in the call for applications. 
 
Modality II. Masters in Human Development, Education and Interculturality graduated from other Higher Education Institutions, national or foreign, and graduates of related postgraduate programs. 
  • Hold a Master's degree or Master's degree certificate in the areas of social sciences, health sciences, humanities, agriculture, administration or related fields, as determined by the Academic Board. 
  • Certificate of professional studies demonstrating that the Master's degree has been completed with a minimum average of eighty, with an original certificate or equivalent document. 
  • Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) in English or its equivalent.
