It is a research-oriented master's degree whose main interest is to strengthen the methodological and theoretical knowledge of its students, applied to Mexican texts, to create researchers of national and international competence.
Admission Requirements
In addition to those required by current university regulations, the following are required:
- Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in a discipline related to the study of literature, and have passed with an average of no less than 80 or its equivalent.
- Submit an application to apply to the program.
- Submit proof of English or French proficiency, issued by a recognized institution. International students must also submit a document certifying their Spanish language proficiency.
- Interview with an evaluator appointed by the Academic Board.
- Take and pass a literature knowledge exam.
- Submit a written document of 3 to 5 pages specifying:
- Reason for his interest in the master's degree.
- Description of your research topic of interest in the literary field.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
