Various national and international entities have highlighted the importance of training human resources with a specific multidisciplinary profile, capable of proposing technological solutions to current problems. In this context, the Doctorate in Mechatronics is an educational program focused on basic and applied scientific research, with an emphasis on intellectual property and technology transfer. It features relevant research lines and content to ensure the proper training of the doctoral graduate in mechatronics. Graduates will be able to join industry, research and development departments, or academic institutions, including national and international institutions, as leaders of research groups. The infrastructure and equipment of CUValles are noteworthy, given its experience in undergraduate engineering programs, including Mechatronics Engineering, as well as the Master's program in Mechatronics Engineering. This combination of resources, including faculty, laboratory equipment, technological support, bibliography, classrooms, and more, provides a comprehensive educational experience for doctoral students in Mechatronics.

Admission Requirements
In addition to those stipulated by current university regulations, the following are required:
Applicants who are graduates and/or have received a degree from the University of Guadalajara are exempt from submitting a simple copy or original of the requirements established in sections a), b) and c) of this resolution, since the school archive already contains the electronic information of the same.
For students with previous studies completed abroad, in addition to the above, the following is required:
The degree, certificates and birth certificate must be apostilled or the applicable procedure for countries not members of the Hague Convention and if they are in a language other than Spanish they must be accompanied by the translation by an accredited expert.
- Simple copy of the master's degree, in the area of mechatronics, mechanics, electronics, instrumentation, computer science or related fields.
- Master's degree certificate with an average grade equal to or greater than 80 (eighty) or its equivalent.
- Original birth certificate.
- Have a Unique Population Registry Code (CURP). In the case of foreigners, it must be valid.
- Demonstrate the applicant's knowledge of the English language through an official document, accrediting at least level B1 of the common European framework of reference for languages or its equivalent; evaluations such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, among others will be taken into account.
- Submit a letter of intent outlining your personal reasons and convictions for joining the doctoral program.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
