The Master of Science in Mechatronics program is aimed at professionals with degrees in mechatronics engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, computer science or related fields who seek to increase their knowledge in the area of ​​mechatronics engineering, for the development of research and technological development projects.

Admission Requirements

According to Article 50 of the General Regulations for Postgraduate Studies of the UDG, the candidate for the Master of Science in Mechatronics program must comply with:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Take and pass a reading comprehension exam in at least one foreign language.
  • To have completed their undergraduate studies with a general average of 80. In exceptional cases this requirement may be omitted, with prior approval by the Academic Board, in accordance with Article 50 bis of the General Regulations for Postgraduate Studies of the University of Guadalajara.
  • Statement of reasons.

Additionally, in accordance with article 52 of the aforementioned regulation, the Academic Board must define, before each admission process, at least two of the following means of evaluation:
  • Selection exam
  • Curriculum evaluation
  • Interview
  • Preparatory course
  • Research project
