General objective
To train high-quality professionals in the creation and design of dictionaries of all types.
Specific objectives
- To train experts in the grammatical knowledge necessary to develop the structure of the dictionary, the types of lexicographical articles that comprise it, and the research necessary to develop the lexicographical articles.
- To train experts in the relevant theoretical concepts, from epistemology and ethics, to resolve the issues that arise in the process of designing and producing dictionaries and lexicons of all kinds.
- To equip graduates with the necessary tools to produce the dictionary, incorporating knowledge from the areas of graphic design, information design, and editorial design.
- To train graduates to incorporate in a cross-cutting manner the knowledge provided by ICT and literacy, from the very conceptualization of the dictionary and the sources that will be consulted, to the editorial production on platforms, including the multimodality of digital dictionaries.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree certificate or graduation certificate and proof of completion of social service, preferably in the areas of linguistics and philology; literature with basic knowledge of grammar; journalism and communication, education, marketing, graphic designers, computer and systems, among others at the discretion of the Academic Board.
- Bachelor's degree certificate with an average grade higher than 80 (eighty) or its equivalent.
- Demonstrate a minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preferably in English or its equivalent.
- Submit a letter of intent explaining your reasons for pursuing the master's degree, stating your commitment to completing it and maintaining a minimum average grade of 80.
- Submit a letter of full-time dedication in the school-based modality.
- To pass the following means of evaluation; preparatory course, interview with at least one member of the Academic Board or of the Academic Staff, and research proposal.
- Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
