Objectives. To train researchers of high academic level, capable of generating scientific knowledge, with skills to analyze, interpret and evaluate with scientific rigor the problems of development, sustainability and tourism, considering the local, regional, national and international context, with a high critical, reflective sense and a comprehensive education.
Admission Requirements
- Master's degree or degree examination record in the areas of Social Sciences, Economic Administration and Environmental Sciences.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one foreign language, according to a reading comprehension exam administered by the Department of International Studies and Foreign Languages of CU Costa.
- Pass the EXANI III exam administered by CENEVAL.
- To pass a preparatory course proposed by the Academic Board.
- Present an interview, with the members of the Academic Board, who will assess your interest, your profile and the conditions that facilitate your good development in the program and possible obtaining of the degree.
- Submit a research protocol that serves as the basis for the thesis work, in accordance with the research lines and knowledge generation of the program, endorsed by one of the professors of the Doctoral program and must have the approval of the Academic Board.
- Full-time dedication.
