Specific objectives
- To provide the fundamental theoretical concepts of the main theoretical currents of the orientation and the chosen line of research.
- To train the student in the knowledge and application of research methodology.
- To train the student in the design and application of strategies, techniques and analytical instrumentation specific to the orientation and line of research chosen.
- To prepare the student for teaching.
- Promote and encourage ethical values.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or degree examination certificate.
- A minimum average grade of 80, with an original certificate or equivalent document from previous studies. Foreign applicants, in addition to meeting the aforementioned academic and institutional requirements, must have immigration authorization and demonstrate financial solvency.
- Pass the entrance exam.
- Submit the letter of acceptance issued by a professor recognized by the Academic Board, in which he agrees to be your thesis director.
- Submit and pass a reading comprehension exam in at least one foreign language, or submit a certificate issued by a recognized institution.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program.
- Curriculum evaluation.
- Those additional ones established by the call for applications.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
