General objective. To train expert researchers who, from the perspective of the strategic and sustainable development of territories, economic spaces, landscapes and risks, as well as the application of the different generalized technologies for spatial analysis (Cartography, GIS and Remote Sensing), can provide concrete solutions to the organization of the different territorial problems and, with this, favor the development of the corresponding specific line of research.

Admission Requirements
- Master's degree or degree examination certificate; professionals graduating from fields of knowledge in social sciences and humanities, environmental sciences, earth sciences, economic-administrative sciences and other related fields may enroll in the doctoral program, at the discretion of the Academic Board.
- Submit a research protocol endorsed by a researcher authorized by the Academic Board.
- Reading comprehension of a foreign language, preferably English, with a TOEFL level of 420.
- Provide evidence of academic background related to the research area you intend to enroll in.
