The Doctorate in Innovation and Sustainability in Business (DISN) is a CUCEA Postgraduate program with the aim of training high-level teachers and specialized researchers who contribute directly to the generation of goods, services, and human capabilities to create a strong and prosperous economy; in addition to this, to ensure that the productivity and competitiveness of the public and private sectors are directed towards the well-being of the population in social, ecological, and economic terms, based on innovation to respond to new economic activities that adapt to current needs.

The Doctorate in Innovation and Sustainability in Business (DISN) is a CUCEA Postgraduate program with the aim of training high-level teachers and specialized researchers who contribute directly to the generation of goods, services, and human capabilities to create a strong and prosperous economy; in addition to this, to ensure that the productivity and competitiveness of the public and private sectors are directed towards the well-being of the population in social, ecological, and economic terms, based on innovation to respond to new economic activities that adapt to current needs.

Admission Requirements

In addition to those stipulated by current university regulations, the following apply: 
  • Have a degree certificate or master's degree issued by an official higher education institution. 
  • Master's degree certificate with an average grade equal to or greater than 80 (eighty) or its equivalent. 
  • Demonstrate the applicant's knowledge of the English language through an official document, accrediting at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​or its equivalent. 
  • Present a research protocol that is linked to the lines of knowledge generation and application of the educational program. 
  • Submit a letter of motivation explaining your interest in studying the doctoral program and the research area(s) that you are interested in. 
  • Take an exam before a national body that certifies your aptitude and knowledge to be able to pursue postgraduate studies (the national body will be in accordance with that established by the University itself). 
  • Conduct an interview with members of the Academic Board or with whomever this collegiate body designates. 
  • Two letters of recommendation from academics and/or researchers. 
  • Updated curriculum vitae highlighting your research work or projects in which you have participated. 
  • Approve the other requirements published in the respective call for applications.
