Goal:
  • Train high-level researchers in the area of ​​Chemical Engineering, disciplined, tenacious, creative, responsible and ethical, who, through their research, are capable of generating knowledge and innovative technologies to meet and respond to the needs related to creation, operation, adaptation and improvement of technology in the productive sector of the country and its global environment.
 
Specific objectives:

  • Train Doctors of Science in Chemical Engineering who, having the preparation and ability to develop research and/or technological development projects, are capable of directing research groups, with their own initiative, quality and excellence, that can conduct themselves autonomously and with a high sense of achievement and that, finally, they are also trainers of high-level human resources.
  • Link the postgraduate course with other National and International Higher Education Institutions and with the Productive Sector, understanding this as the meeting point between organizations or companies that have technological problems to solve and our postgraduate researchers who can offer solutions.
  • Promote the technological and socioeconomic development of the environment through the creation of new technologies, the improvement of existing ones and the transfer of technology to the Industrial Sector.

  • The master's degree or, where appropriate, the postgraduate degree examination certificate related to Chemical Engineering; the evaluation of the affinity of the previous Master's degree will be in charge of the Academic Board.
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty in their Master's studies.
  • Demonstrate a minimum B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) in the English language or its equivalent.
  • Comply satisfactorily with the means of selection designated by the Academic Board in accordance with article 52 of the General Postgraduate Regulations.
  • For the selection and admission of students to the postgraduate program, article 51 of the General Postgraduate Regulations will be taken into consideration.
  • Approve the other requirements published in the respective call.
