Admission Requirements

The requirements for admission are a high school diploma and the other requirements established by current university regulations.

Students must pass the Diagnostic Assessment for Admission to the Arts,  developed specifically for this purpose by the Coordination of Academic Programs. This admissions instrument will consist of a series of questions and exercises specific to the applicant's area of ​​professional interest, designed to identify, as far as possible, their aptitudes and attitudes.  Aspects considered will include skills in artistic practice, a willingness to work individually and collaboratively, and the capacity for observation, critical reflection, and self-reflection, among others.

In addition to the general requirements for the admission process, you must comply with the following:

Medical evaluation

This assessment is part of the First Stage of the Artistic Diagnostic Evaluation (EDA) and is essential to verify your state of health, since Dance and Theater careers require high physical and mental demands.

Without the complete assessment you will not be able to submit the EDA.
  • You must schedule your medical evaluation.  They will send you available dates and a payment form that you must complete to attend the evaluation (keep your receipt).
  • The form must be completed by a licensed physician, including their professional license and a recent electrocardiogram .
  • The evaluation is carried out at the CUAAD Medical Unit (Huentitán campus) .

Artistic diagnostic assessment
  • The EDA consists of activities designed to identify your aptitudes and attitudes according to the Performing Arts career you aspire to.
