Admission Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree or graduation certificate in mechanical, electrical, electronic, biochemical, industrial, physics engineering or related fields, and proof of completion of the social service for bachelor's degree, according to the academic criteria established by the Academic Board.
- Demonstrate a minimum average of 80, with an original certificate or equivalent document from previous studies, as applicable.
- In the case of foreign applicants, in addition to fulfilling the aforementioned institutional academic requirements, they must have immigration authorization and demonstrate financial solvency.
- Pass the entrance exam established by the Academic Board. If you do not pass it, take and pass the corresponding preparatory course offered by the postgraduate program.
- Academic letter of recommendation issued by a researcher in the area of interest of the applicant member of the SNI.
- English proficiency at a comprehension level, which will be accredited by presenting a certificate of level B1, or higher, of the Common European Framework of Reference issued by an institution of recognized prestige, in accordance with the Foreign Languages Policy of the University of Guadalajara.
- Curriculum evaluation. The applicant's prior academic background will be evaluated.
- Letter of intent explaining the reasons for taking the program.
- Interview with the Academic Board of the program.
- Register with SIIAU and pay the corresponding fees, and
- Those established by the call for applications.
For foreign students, in addition to the above, the documents must be apostilled and, if they are in a language other than Spanish, translated by a translation center. Also, a technical opinion must be requested from the Postgraduate Coordination.
