Criminology had been taught exclusively through the University Institutes of Criminology that had their headquarters in the respective Faculties of Law, although with the category of Own Degree or Diploma. As a pioneering center, the UCM Institute of Criminology has offered these studies since its creation in 1964. The Complutense University of Madrid, with the Degree in Criminology , responds to the great interest and social demand that studies in this area of knowledge arouse. The Faculty of Law, located on the Moncloa Campus, and the center responsible for this Degree, has the necessary infrastructure to carry out the corresponding activities of the Degree in Criminology with quality guarantees: library, amphitheater classrooms, classrooms with fixed seats and cell phones, study rooms, computer rooms, Wi-Fi connection, cafeterias, dining room, etc. In addition, the facilities are adapted for use by people with disabilities.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to this degree, you must meet the requirements for access to the University contemplated by current regulations: selectivity, International Baccalaureates, Validation agreements, access for people over 25 years of age, over 40 years of age, etc. You have all the details on the University Admissions page: ucm.es
In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
