The characteristic profile (PROFILE 1) of the doctoral student that is recommended for this Doctoral Program in Dental Sciences would be a Graduate or Graduate in Dentistry or Specialist in Stomatology who has completed an Official Research Master's Degree similar to the Master's Degree in Dental Sciences taught at the Faculty of Dentistry, understanding for a research master's degree, one that offers at least 24 ECTs of training in Research Methodology. Graduates/graduates in Medicine and other related health areas who have completed the same type of Official Master's Degree would also be included in this profile. Candidates who meet this recommended entry profile will be exempt from completing the training complement. A second profile defined in the Doctoral Program (PROFILE 2) would be that of Graduate or Graduate in Dentistry, or Graduate/Licentiate in Medicine or other related health areas, who accredits having completed 300 ECTS, and who has NOT completed an Official Master 's Degree. Also included within this second profile would be the Graduate or Graduate in Dentistry or Specialist in Stomatology, or Graduate/Graduate in Medicine or other related health areas, who have completed an Official Master's Degree that does not include training in Research Methodology of at least 24 ECTs.
