Degree in Software Engineering is a discipline that deals with providing an adequate framework for the management of software projects, and for the design of business applications with a software architecture that favors its maintenance and evolution over time. The concepts of process model, time planning, teamwork, risk management, quality assurance, configuration management, software requirements specification, software architecture, design model, design pattern, testing, integration, evolution and maintenance, are key in this discipline. The Degree in Software Engineering fully complies with the Agreement of the Council of Universities (BOE August 4, 2009), which establishes recommendations for the proposal of official degrees in the field of Technical Computer Engineering. The Faculty of Informatics, located on the Moncloa campus, and close to the Ciudad Universitaria metro station, has the material means and key services that allow all the planned training activities to be properly imparted: classrooms, library, auditorium, classroom main hall, undergraduate classroom, research laboratories and teaching laboratories, WiFi network, self-service cafeteria, etc.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to this degree, you must meet the requirements for access to the University contemplated by current regulations: selectivity, International Baccalaureates, Validation agreements, access for people over 25 years of age, over 40 years of age, etc. You have all the details on the University Admissions page: ucm.es

In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
