The Department of Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution of the Faculty of Biological Sciences teaches the Master's Degree in Zoology in order to complete its current contribution to the postgraduate course at the Complutense University of Madrid in the field of scientific and applied study of biodiversity. The Master's in Zoology is based on the training that has been given with notable success up to now in the Specialty of Zoology in the 4th and 5th years of the Bachelor's Degree in Biology and that has been lost in the current Degree in Biology. This training has a strong taxonomic base and is complemented by other aspects of the study and management of animal species useful for the professional insertion of graduates in the field of the environment, health, agri-food, etc.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
