The  Master's Degree in Sciences of Religions  is interdepartmental, interfacultative and interdisciplinary. It brings together a large number of specialists in the various sciences who are responsible for the analysis of the religious phenomenon and allows a diversified, specialized, attractive and quality offer. Thanks to its open vision, it allows the real and effective mobility of students and professors between the various participating institutions, as well as the initiation of the first in the most varied lines of research. It is also the only master in its specialty that exists today in Spain and that includes in its training offer extensive academic content of specialization and research of the highest quality, allowing the continuation of training with a Doctorate Program. From the scientific point of view and its academic content, the Master's Degree in Sciences of Religions offers a broad interdisciplinary program with the aim of providing students with a complete and transversal specialization in the various fields that make up the study of religion (Phenomenology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, History, criticism of religious sources). literary...), as well as in the disciplines, research traditions, documentary records, methods and analysis techniques that operate in these fields.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). 

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
