The main objective of the Master's Degree in Business Finance is to prepare students to be able to provide the best strategic and operational solutions to the financial problems they face throughout their professional or research life. Counting, for this, with the conceptual foundations and the most advanced techniques in Financial Management of the Company, and with the generation of skills to synthesize, understand and apply the principles on which sound financial decisions are based and that create value. The specific objectives are :
- Provide extensive and in-depth knowledge to students, so that they are capable of analyzing and resolving complex situations in the field of Business Finance, relying on the most rigorous conceptual foundations, the most appropriate methodologies, the most advanced technical tools, and the use efficient use of information for its transformation into knowledge applicable to decision-making.
- Teach the student, who so wishes, to investigate in the field of business finance so that they can apply their expertise either in the academic world, or in study services, where such specialization may be useful.
- Transmit to students a greater sensitivity for the ethical aspects of the financial function, the need for which has become especially clear as a result of the financial origins of the current global economic crisis.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
