The Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University has imparted scientific knowledge for the exercise of professional journalism since 1971. Enrolled in the area of ​​Social Sciences, they have the double character of being generic and specific. Among the former are knowledge in Economics, Sociology, History and Law. Among the latter, the Theory of Communication, Technology, the Informative Company and journalistic Writing. Degree in Journalism interprets reality, gives meaning to it and contributes to raising the degree of freedom of the citizens it informs, providing them with the means to choose and express their opinions freely. Admission Requirements

In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
