The designer of the 21st century faces challenges of a very diverse nature, in different fields and subject to change determined by the needs, problems and forces that mark our society. In this sense, and in contrast to the usual tone of the academic offer, the generalist program of this Master's Degree in Design claims a greater openness to better understand the professional world of our time and prepares the student for a faster and more fluid integration, even in environments that may initially seem unfamiliar. The development of projects and design strategies requires an updated vision of existing technologies and materials, as well as effective management of applied research and manufacturing processes. The main objective of this Master is to provide solid training in the foundations of Design as a discipline integrated into social structures and a holistic professional vision of design, aimed at promoting experimentation, team integration and user understanding as justification. of the project, whether product or service, always flexible and consistent with multicultural codes and groups.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
