Degree in Mathematical Engineering explains about the development and application of advanced mathematical methods to problems that appear in engineering, science, technology and, in general, in business, industry and administration. The orientation towards the application of mathematics is what clearly marks the difference between the Mathematical Engineer and the Mathematician. On the other hand, the Mathematical Engineer is distinguished from other engineers by his analytical way of approaching problems and by the generality of the solutions that he proposes. However, training in Mathematical Engineering requires a sufficient base in Mathematics, not only because of the necessary content it provides, but also because of the rigor and formal discipline that said training provides. The Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, located on the Moncloa campus, has the necessary services and infrastructure for teaching the Degree in Mathematical Engineering: library, assembly hall, grading room, classrooms and computer lab, cafeteria-dining room, etc.
