Joint Master's Degree in Disaster Management from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, an official master's degree from the EHEA, which aims to provide global training in disaster and emergency management. The reference framework is considered the set of political and administrative decisions and operational interventions that are carried out in the different stages of a disaster: Prevention and Mitigation (including risk analysis), Preparation, Response and Recovery. It is aimed at training managers with a global vision of the processes that lead to a disaster and in the reaction to it, with information management for decision-making being a central axis in training. The master is taught at the Faculty of CC. Mathematics of the UCM, which has the following material resources and services available, although some specialty elective subjects are taught totally or partially in the faculties and schools that participate in order to have access to specific resources.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). 

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
